Community

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King

Treehouse selected West Milford NJ to open their dispensary due to the active efforts of the City Council to revitalize the community. These efforts inspired our team, and we want to actively contribute to the effort to rejuvenate the community by giving back.

Treehouse believes that it can and should have a critical role in the quality of life to the community. Our founders believe that we have an important fiduciary obligation to be a “good neighbor” and provide benefits to our community as part of our healthcare mission. Therefore, we view our Community Benefits Plan as a blueprint for how we plan to accomplish this.

Here are just a few of the ways we plan to do that…

Event & Charity Sponsorship

Our founders understand the importance of Education. Therefore, Treehouse plans on donating to or sponsoring the local charities. As part of our service, we will help guide the contributions of the charity and will make regular monetary donations, volunteer time from our LLC members, and support paid time volunteering to our employees who are willing and able to assist charities that are looking for volunteers. All of the Charity Sponsorships will be local and for charities located within and benefit the Community as a whole.

Annual Food Drives

Treehouse will host annual food drives that will be specifically designed to benefit the local community. On top of our financial commitment to the food drive, we will obtain sponsorships from our vendor partners as well as collect food and monetary donations from willing customers, and anyone looking to help, to benefit the West Milford community. All items collected will be distributed locally in partnership with local charities, and local church food pantries and soup kitchens.

Community Counseling & Education

Since being signed into law, the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement and Marketplace Modernization Act has established the framework for decriminalization of Marijuana. The NJ Attorney General has instituted Directive 2021-1 concerning the dismissals of pending cases prior and for the ability to vacate any guilty verdict, plea or other entry of guilt on marijuana related offenses.

Treehouse pledges to create a program to assist those in the community for assistance in the paperwork and filing needed to accurately file such requests, as well as the “next steps” in making further positive changes in their lives, with resources for education & career training.

Are you a resident of NJ that wants help with vacating any guilty verdict, plea or other entry of guilt on a marijuana related offense? Complete this quick online form with your information and we’ll assist you in this process at no cost.
